Bulgaria plans to increase vignette prices for vehicles under 3.5 tons by 30% starting August 1, 2025. The most popular weekly vignette will rise from €7.7 to €10. Other vignettes, including daily and monthly options, will also see price hikes. Fines for not having a valid vignette will increase from €36 to €46.5. The revenue from these increases is expected to fund road rehabilitation and safety improvements, totaling an additional €54 million. Romania remains the EU country with the cheapest annual vignette at €50.
