Câini antrenați în România, trimiși la granițele Ucrainei. Pot detecta droguri, arme și bani ascunși • Newsweek România

Seven service dogs and their trainers from the Ukrainian Customs have completed intensive training in Romania to detect drugs, weapons, and hidden money. The training took place from September 21 to October 2, 2026, at the Romanian Customs Authority's Canine Training Center. The teams practiced searching vehicles, luggage, and warehouses, focusing on identifying illegal goods. This is the third consecutive year Romania has hosted such training for Ukrainian customs teams, organized in collaboration with the EUAM Ukraine mission. The canine teams are effective in combating illegal trafficking and serve as a deterrent to traffickers.
