Cafeaua și ceaiul băute fierbinți, asociate cu un risc pentru un tip de cancer esofagian. Studiu pe aproape un milion de oameni
A study involving nearly one million people indicates that consuming very hot coffee or tea may increase the risk of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma by about three times. Conducted by researchers at the University of Oxford, the research analyzed data from 977,282 individuals in the UK. It found that those who prefer their drinks very hot have a significantly higher risk compared to those who consume them warm. The study highlights that the temperature of the beverages, rather than the drinks themselves, is the key factor. Additionally, drinking six or more hot beverages daily raises the risk by 71%. The findings suggest that reducing the temperature of hot drinks could potentially prevent some cases of this cancer type.
