The assault involved around 70 missiles and drones, targeting residential buildings in various cities, particularly in Priluki, where a five-story apartment block was destroyed. Zelensky emphasized the attack's brutality and the ongoing search for victims under the rubble. He noted that critical infrastructure, especially energy facilities, was a primary target. The president called for more Patriot missile defense systems to protect Ukrainian airspace.
