The National Agency for Cadastre and Real Estate Publicity (ANCPI) is conducting free systematic registration of properties, benefiting both citizens and local authorities. This process helps manage properties, access European funds, and reduce disputes over property boundaries. Property owners are encouraged to verify their information during a 60-day public display period to ensure accuracy. Errors can be corrected during this time or even after the registration is completed, following legal procedures. The ANCPI is currently in Phase II of a project aimed at increasing property registration in rural areas, covering 660 communes.
