CAB anulează condamnarea generalului în rezervă Florin Mihalachl, adjunct la STS. Ce acuzații i se aduceau

The Bucharest Court of Appeal annulled the 3 years and 8 months prison sentence of retired General Florin Mihalache, previously convicted for influence peddling, money laundering, and forgery. The court found insufficient evidence to support the charges against him. Mihalache had been accused of soliciting €75,000 from a company administrator to leverage his influence in settling commercial disputes. The court's decision is final, and it overturned the initial ruling from December 2023, leading to his acquittal on all counts due to lack of proof of wrongdoing.
