Buzoianu: Implicarea tinerilor în politicile de mediu şi climă trebuie să devină o parte firească a modului în care luăm decizii
The involvement of youth in environmental and climate policy-making is essential, according to Minister Diana Buzoianu, who launched the National Youth Agenda for Climate Change 2026-2030. This agenda reflects the views of over 1,700 young participants and emphasizes priorities such as forest protection, climate education, and community adaptation to climate impacts. The agenda aims to ensure that youth voices are integrated into decision-making processes, with a focus on creating actionable policies. The initiative follows the establishment of the Youth Advisory Council on Climate and Environment, which facilitates direct communication between youth and the Ministry. The National Conference LCOY Romania 2026 gathered various stakeholders to discuss climate governance and community adaptation strategies.
