The Buzău International Arts Festival (BIAF) is set to attract over 100,000 attendees this year, featuring international film and theater competitions, concerts, visual arts, literature, and children's workshops. Notable guests include Romanian actor George Mihăiță, who will receive the BIAF Excellence Award, and Italian actor Riccardo Scamarcio. Events will take place in various locations in Buzău and surrounding areas, with many activities being free. The festival, established in 2021, aims to showcase Buzău's cultural potential and will run from August 14 to September 11.
