This change aims to include students in the new technological high school system, including dual education. The final decision will be made by the Chamber of Deputies. Currently, merit and technological scholarships are only available during school terms, while social scholarships have different rules. The proposal also ensures that technological scholarships are accessible to students in technological high schools and dual education, aligning with the reorganization of vocational education starting in the 2026-2027 school year. The current scholarship amounts are 450 lei for merit and 300 lei for social and technological scholarships, with no immediate increase in values proposed.
