Merit and technological scholarships will be awarded during school terms and specific exam periods. For the 2026-2027 school year, the merit scholarship will be 450 lei per month, while social and technological scholarships will be 300 lei. The government aims to support both academic performance and students from disadvantaged backgrounds, preventing school dropout. Additionally, scholarships for minor mothers will be available at 700 lei per month. The framework also allows for other scholarships from various sources, which can be combined with state-funded scholarships.
