Bursele elevilor în anul școlar 2026-2027: cine primește bani, cât și când se fac plățile

The Romanian government has set the rules for student scholarships for the 2026-2027 school year, maintaining previous amounts. Social scholarships will now be available during school vacations, with exceptions. Four main types of scholarships are established: merit, social, technological, and for minor mothers, with specific eligibility criteria. The merit scholarship is for top-performing students, while social scholarships target those from low-income families or vulnerable situations. Students can receive both merit and social scholarships if they meet the requirements. Payments will be made monthly, starting in November 2026, and schools must submit lists of eligible students by October 20.
