The first payment of student scholarships for the 2026-2027 school year will occur on November 20, 2026, covering September and October. Merit scholarships are set at 450 lei per month, while social and technological scholarships are 300 lei each. Schools must submit beneficiary data to the Ministry of Education by October 25, 2026. Following the initial payment, scholarships will be disbursed on the 20th of each month for the previous month. The methodology allows for payments to be made via bank transfer or cash, without requiring students to open specific bank accounts.
