Bursa SAB 2026: mașina solară construită de studenți din Cluj câștigă premiul de 5.000 de euro

A solar-powered car developed by over 40 Romanian students from Cluj-Napoca won the SAB 2026 Scholarship, receiving a €5,000 prize. The SOLIS Hyperion project, initiated in 2018, focuses on sustainable mobility solutions. The award was presented at the Bucharest Auto Show, highlighting innovations aimed at reducing energy consumption and pollution. Hyperion features nearly six square meters of solar panels and has participated in the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge, completing 2,700 kilometers. The project aligns with the growing trend of electric vehicles in Europe, which now account for over 21% of new registrations. The team also participates in a national campaign promoting youth development in Romania.
