Burkina Faso a inaugurat la Ouagadougou prima sa rafinărie de aur

Burkina Faso has inaugurated its first gold refinery in Ouagadougou, marking a significant step towards economic independence. The refinery, RAFFINOR-BF, has an annual production capacity of 164 tons, with future projections of 515 tons. The project, costing over 11 billion CFA francs, was funded by the state and private sector. Captain Ibrahim Traoré emphasized the goal of refining all metals domestically to retain value within the country. The refinery is expected to create 100 direct and 5,000 indirect jobs, contributing to Burkina Faso's position as a leading gold producer in sub-Saharan Africa.
