In June, industrial production prices rose significantly in the EU and Eurozone, with Bulgaria and Romania experiencing the highest increases. Eurostat reported a 4.7% rise in the EU and 4.6% in the Eurozone compared to 2025. Bulgaria saw an 18.2% increase, while Romania's prices rose by 14.3%. Energy prices were a major factor, increasing by 10%. Compared to the previous month, prices decreased slightly by 0.2% in the EU. In Romania, overall industrial prices increased by 12.7% in June 2026 compared to 2025, with the energy sector seeing the largest rise at 24.47%.
