Starting August 1, Bulgaria will increase vignette prices for all vehicle categories by approximately 30%. This is the first hike since the electronic vignette system was introduced in 2019. The annual vignette will rise to nearly 65 euros, while the quarterly and monthly vignettes will also see significant increases. Short-term vignette prices will also go up, alongside fines for driving without a valid vignette. The Bulgarian government claims this increase is essential for road infrastructure modernization.
