Bulgaria pregătește aderarea la o inițiativă NATO împotriva dronelor. Cât va plăti anual pentru apărare
Bulgaria plans to join a NATO initiative for air defense against drones and low-altitude threats by the end of October. Defense Minister Dimitar Stoianov announced this during a parliamentary session discussing recent attacks on commercial ships in the Black Sea. The annual contribution for Bulgaria is estimated at 220,000 euros, which the Ministry of Defense believes is manageable. Bulgaria is already part of the NATO Drone Edge program and intends to invest 80 million euros in acquiring 20 anti-drone systems. Recent drone attacks in the Black Sea have raised concerns about maritime security, prompting Bulgaria to seek international support for airspace monitoring.
