Bulgaria majorează pragul sărăciei cu peste 13% din 2027. Ce se schimbă pentru pensii și ajutoare sociale

Bulgaria will increase the poverty threshold to 443 euros starting January 1, 2027, approved by the National Council for Tripartite Cooperation. This new threshold is 13.4% higher than in 2026, allowing more people to access social support. The increase will affect various social benefits, including child protection allowances and disability support. The Ministry of Labor will require an additional 93.799 million euros in the 2027 budget to accommodate these changes. Despite the increase, unions argue the threshold should be higher to better meet the needs of low-income households.
