Bulgaria instalează sisteme antidronă și sporește securitatea la fabricile și depozitele de arme • Newsweek România

Bulgaria is enhancing security at critical infrastructure sites by installing anti-drone systems and increasing police patrols at arms production and storage facilities. This decision follows a recent fire at an arms depot owned by EMCO, raising concerns about the safety of ammunition manufacturers. Interior Minister Ivan Demerdzhiev noted similarities to a previous fire at the same depot. EMCO claims the fire was sabotage, citing over ten similar incidents since 2011, although no suspects have been identified. Prosecutors have previously indicated that the company's facilities were targeted by Russian agents.
