Bulgaria construieşte un dig pe Dunăre, la graniţa cu România, pentru centrala nucleară de la Kozlodui - Economica.net
A dam will be constructed on the Danube near the Kozloduy Nuclear Power Plant to address low water levels, according to Bulgaria's Energy Minister. The dam is expected to be 250 to 300 meters long, with construction lasting 10 to 15 days. Design work is ongoing, while alternative options are also being evaluated. The current situation remains challenging due to extremely low water levels, affecting the plant's operations. Unit 5 is currently running at reduced capacity, marking a historic first for the facility due to weather conditions.
