Bulgaria cere NATO să instaleze sisteme anti-drone pe teritoriul său, după atacurile asupra navelor în Marea Neagră

Bulgaria has officially requested NATO to deploy fighter jets and drone destruction systems on its territory to enhance defense amid rising maritime threats. This follows recent drone attacks on commercial vessels in the Black Sea, prompting Sofia to summon the Russian ambassador. Bulgarian Defense Minister Dimitar Stoianov emphasized the need for increased NATO presence and coordination with Romania and Turkey. NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte confirmed ongoing collaboration with Black Sea allies and stated that the request will be discussed by NATO ambassadors next week. Bulgaria also aims to join a NATO initiative against drones by the end of October.
