Bulgaria cere NATO avioane de vânătoare, sisteme antirachete şi echipamente antidrone după atacurile din largul Mării Negre

Bulgaria has requested NATO to deploy fighter jets, missile systems, and anti-drone equipment to enhance its defense against attacks on commercial vessels in the Black Sea. Defense Minister Dimitar Stoianov announced this request, emphasizing the need for additional forces on Bulgarian territory. Despite the request, no response has been received from NATO regarding potential reinforcements. Stoianov noted that recent attacks on commercial ships have prompted NATO to focus more on Black Sea security. He acknowledged that even with additional NATO resources, absolute protection against attacks is not feasible, but aims to minimize risks. Bulgaria is already implementing surveillance systems to address potential threats.
