Bulgaria cere NATO avioane de luptă și sisteme antidronă la Marea Neagră, după atacurile asupra navelor comerciale

Bulgaria has officially requested NATO to deploy fighter jets and drone defense systems to enhance its security following drone attacks on commercial vessels in the Black Sea. Bulgarian Defense Minister Dimitar Stoyanov announced that Sofia has communicated this request to NATO leadership and is awaiting a response. The request follows incidents where two ships were struck by drones near the Romanian coast, leading to fires, and another vessel sank off Bulgaria's coast. These events highlight the risks posed to maritime trade amid the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict. Bulgaria aims to strengthen its defense with additional NATO forces, including aircraft and drone detection systems. Stoyanov plans to meet with counterparts from Romania and Turkey to discuss coordinated security measures in the Black Sea.
