Bulgaria has received one billion euros from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, aimed at vital projects. Prime Minister Rumen Radev announced this during a cabinet session, highlighting the funds' allocation for kindergartens, building renovations, medical helicopters, and energy storage systems. The government renegotiated commitments related to the fifth payment tranche, dropping plans for a water metering tax. Radev emphasized the importance of protecting funds for regions like Stara Zagora, Kiustendil, and Pernik, assuring European partners of Bulgaria's commitment to valuable projects. He expressed confidence in securing significant future funding.
