Bugetul Metrorex a fost aprobat / Pierderile estimate, în scădere cu 5,31% faţă de 2025

The Romanian government approved Metrorex's budget for 2026, which includes a significant decrease in estimated revenues and total expenditures. The budget aims to support the company's operations and obligations. Total revenues are projected at 1.797 billion lei, down 23.19% from 2025, with operating revenues making up nearly all of this amount. Subsidies are set at 761.49 million lei, reflecting a 12.77% decrease. Despite the overall revenue drop, income from sold production and transport services is expected to rise. Total expenditures are estimated at 2.093 billion lei, a decrease of 21.08%, while personnel costs are projected to increase. The budget also allocates funds for significant investment projects, including new metro lines and equipment purchases.
