The Romanian Minister of Finance announced an additional 2 billion lei for the budgets of the Ministries of Transport and Environment to settle PNRR project invoices. This funding aims to ensure that investments continue without payment delays, providing predictability for companies involved in the projects. As of October 12, 44.3 billion lei has been paid from the state budget for PNRR projects, including both grants and loans. The additional funds will be allocated to various infrastructure and environmental projects, totaling over 46.5 billion lei mobilized for PNRR by 2026.
