The Ministry of Energy has announced a €500 million funding call to support investments in new solar energy production capacities with integrated storage for public entities. Applications will be accepted online from September 28, 2026, until November 20, 2026, or until the budget is exhausted. Project selection will follow a first-come, first-served basis, with evaluations occurring from November 23, 2026, to March 2, 2027. Eligible applicants include various public institutions and organizations. The funding covers up to 100% of eligible costs, with a maximum of €10 million per beneficiary. The aid per installed MW is capped at €900,000 or €1,100,000 depending on the inclusion of heat pumps.
