Budget revision will target urgent healthcare spending, internal, ambulance services (minister)

The interim Minister of Finance, Alexandru Nazare, announced two budget revisions for 2026 to address urgent public institution expenses, including health and internal affairs. The first revision, due by the end of October, will focus on immediate operational needs, while a second revision in late November will allow for further adjustments. Both revisions aim to maintain the budget deficit target for the year. Nazare highlighted the financial pressures from energy subsidies and magistrates' pay claims, indicating ongoing discussions for a feasible payment strategy.
