Visa and Banca Transilvania will host the WE BUILD General Assembly in Bucharest on November 3-4, 2026, focusing on the EU Digital Identity Wallet and European Business Wallet. The event will gather 450 representatives from 200 organizations across 28 countries to discuss progress in digital wallet usage scenarios. WE BUILD is a large-scale pilot project funded by the EU, aiming to test these wallets in various scenarios before their implementation in EU member states. The initiative emphasizes the importance of digital identity in facilitating business processes and cross-border services.
