At the end of August, Bucharest recorded 5,405 unemployed individuals, resulting in an unemployment rate of 0.41%. Among them, 3,348 were women. The data from the Municipal Agency for Employment indicates that 2,263 were receiving unemployment benefits, while 3,142 were not. All unemployed individuals came from urban areas. The largest group had high school education, followed by those with higher education. The employability assessment categorized 1,058 as very hard to employ, 1,588 as hard to employ, 1,605 as medium employable, and 1,154 as easily employable.
