Bucureștiul achiziționează noi tramvaie, troleibuze și autobuze electrice

Bucharest is set to receive €87.44 million for public transport improvements from the Modernization Fund, as confirmed by the Mayor. The funds are non-repayable, with the city only covering VAT. The project includes the acquisition of new trams, trolleybuses, and electric buses, aimed at modernizing the STB fleet and reducing pollution. Infrastructure for charging electric buses will also be established to ensure efficient operation from day one. This investment is expected to enhance public transport quality and contribute to a cleaner city.
