București: Voucherul Materna de 2.000 lei pentru gravide a fost eliminat

The Bucharest General Council has voted to abolish the financial incentive for pregnant women, known as the Materna Voucher, due to budget constraints. This program, introduced in 2018, provided financial support for medical expenses but is deemed unnecessary as prenatal services are already covered by the national health insurance system. Existing rights under the previous regulation will remain valid, and funding will be managed within the approved budget limits.
