The National Top of Firms (TNF) 2026 report shows that companies in these regions have a combined turnover of 159 billion euros. Following them are Arges and Cluj, with significant turnovers as well. Bucharest alone accounts for 44% of the total turnover and employs over 515,000 people. The report highlights the profitability of companies in Sibiu and the high turnover per employee in Giurgiu. The TNF ranks 12,943 companies across all counties, with a total turnover of 299.47 billion euros. The analysis is based on key economic indicators, including net turnover and operating profit.
