Irinel Ionel Scrioşteanu announced that the Adjud-Bacău section of the A7 highway will open next week, allowing uninterrupted travel from Bucharest to Bacău. The 47.10 km segment is part of the larger A7 project, which aims to connect Moldova with the national highway network. The A7 currently has nearly half of its 453 km open, with plans to complete an additional 125 km by the end of 2026. This development is expected to improve traffic safety and efficiency on one of Romania's busiest routes.
