Metrorex has announced increased waiting times for metro trains due to rolling stock availability issues, particularly on Line 2. Temporary replacements of CAF trains with Bombardier trains are in effect, and the company warns that overcrowding and unforeseen circumstances may further extend waiting times, especially with the school year starting. Additionally, USLM president Marian Artimon indicated that metro services could halt after September 16 if employees do not receive their salaries, as Metrorex currently has insufficient funds. He highlighted that delays in salary payments could lead employees to take various actions, including legal action against management.
