On September 19, the "Hope in a Jar" event will take place at the Hope Shelter, where participants will make zacusca to support shelter dogs. Entry is free, and attendees will leave with a jar of zacusca. Donations will help provide food and care for the dogs. Additionally, the WOOF Fest will occur on September 5-6 at ParkLake Shopping Center, featuring activities for pets and their owners, food trucks, contests, and an adoption area.
