On September 11-12, the Capital's Traffic Brigade and the Romanian Auto Registry conducted a control action to enhance road safety and reduce noise pollution from vehicles with unauthorized modifications. The focus was on checking the technical condition of vehicles, including noise reduction systems and compliance with lighting regulations. During the operation, 30 fines totaling approximately 19,700 lei were issued, with 11 registration certificates and 7 license plates confiscated for technical deficiencies. Notable cases included a 46-year-old driver and a 22-year-old motorcyclist, both penalized for unauthorized modifications. Similar actions will continue to ensure compliance with traffic regulations.
