The Bucharest Photofest, running from October 9 to 18, features over 200 artists and 50 events under the theme "Witness." The festival aims to reflect on the power of photography in capturing human resilience and socio-political issues. The opening includes a collective exhibition and a film screening. Various workshops and masterclasses will be held, focusing on topics like refugee experiences and children's rights. The central hub, Kulturhaus, will host multiple exhibitions and guided tours by artists. Notable photographers will also conduct workshops, including Pulitzer Prize winner Evgeniy Maloletka, who will discuss war photography.
