Bucharest International Poetry Festival - 14-20 September; more than 50 events on programme

The 16th Bucharest International Poetry Festival will occur from September 14 to 20, featuring over 50 events focused on poetry and cultural exchange. The festival opens on September 14 at the "Carol I" Central University Library, with performances by renowned poets and musicians. This year's theme is "Slow Gun Poetry," inspired by Cezar Ivanescu. The festival includes international guests and commemorative events for notable Romanian poets, alongside interactive exhibitions and workshops aimed at engaging younger audiences. Admission to all events is free, subject to seating availability.
