Bruxellesul avertizează România legat de siguranța exploatărilor de petrol și gaze din Marea Neagră. Riscăm să ajungem la Curtea de Justiție a UE
The European Commission has warned Romania and Poland about their offshore oil and gas safety compliance, risking legal action if issues are not addressed. Both countries received motivated opinions for failing to fully adhere to EU Directive 2013/30/EU, which aims to prevent and manage accidents in offshore operations. The directive is crucial for minimizing major accident risks and their impacts on people, marine environments, and coastal economies. Romania has two months to respond and rectify the identified deficiencies, or it may face proceedings in the EU Court of Justice. Key offshore projects in Romania include Istria, Midia Gas Development, and Neptun Deep, which are vital for EU energy security.
