Britsh Petroleum scoate la vânzare activele de petrol şi gaze din Marea Nordului, în cadrul restructurării accelerate a companiei
BP plans to sell its North Sea oil and gas fields, valued over $2 billion, as part of a restructuring led by CEO Meg O'Neill to enhance profitability. The company aims to focus on more valuable opportunities, believing its North Sea operations would be better suited under another company. Potential buyers include firms already active in the North Sea. BP has operated in the region for over sixty years, contributing about 5% to its total oil and gas production last year. The company will retain its aviation fuel distribution and gas station operations in the UK while accelerating debt reduction and shifting focus back to traditional oil and gas activities.
