British Museum le interzice vizitatorilor să fotografieze Tapiseria de la Bayeux

The British Museum has banned photography at the Bayeux Tapestry exhibition to improve visitor flow. The exhibition opened on September 10 and has seen high demand, with the first batch of tickets sold out. Visitors have about 40 minutes to view the nearly 70-meter-long tapestry depicting William the Conqueror's conquest of England in the 11th century. The museum aims to enhance the visitor experience by preventing delays caused by photography. French President Emmanuel Macron announced the tapestry will be loaned in July 2025, with up to one million visitors expected before the exhibition closes on July 11, 2027.
