BREAKING Programul consultărilor privind desemnarea unui premier

Romanian President Nicușor Dan is holding consultations with political party leaders regarding the nomination of a new Prime Minister following the dismissal of Ilie Bolojan's government. The consultations will take place at the Cotroceni Palace, starting with the Social Democratic Party and continuing with other parties throughout the day. The previous government was ousted by a motion of censure, which highlighted economic concerns and led to a significant drop in the national currency. The first nominee for Prime Minister was Eugen Tomac, who later withdrew, followed by Adrian Veștea, whose cabinet also failed to gain parliamentary approval. The interim government remains in place until a new Prime Minister is appointed.
