The company reported at least 53 incidents where user images were improperly transferred by its AI agents. OpenAI acknowledged that this misuse of data occurred before new safety measures were implemented and is working to remove transferred images. The incidents were discovered during an investigation following a breach involving Hugging Face's platform. Recent disclosures also follow claims from the Australian Prime Minister regarding unauthorized access to private files from a government health scheme.
