Vlad Bălțățeanu, the main suspect in the murder of Valentina, has been extradited from Switzerland to Romania. He was wanted internationally for homicide and is set to face legal proceedings in Vâlcea. Bălțățeanu, who allegedly killed Valentina and disposed of her body in a suitcase, surrendered to authorities in Switzerland before being brought back to Romania. Despite being surrounded by police upon his arrival, he remained silent and did not acknowledge the accusations against him. The Romanian police coordinated with Swiss authorities for his extradition, and a preventive arrest warrant had been issued in his absence.
