A foreign-flagged vessel, Yara J, was struck by a drone near Sulina, Romania, causing a fire onboard. The crew reported the incident and confirmed that the fire was extinguished without needing assistance. Meanwhile, Spanish F-18s were deployed after radar detected aerial targets in the Black Sea. One target was lost over the sea, while another left Romanian airspace towards Ukraine. The Ukrainian air defense later destroyed the target near Reni, Ukraine, and the alert was lifted shortly after.
