BREAKING | Guvernul Siegfried Mureșan a picat la vot în Parlament • Știri București

The proposed government led by Siegfried Mureșan failed to secure the necessary votes in Parliament, receiving only 182 out of 233 required. Despite the presence of PSD members to ensure quorum, they abstained from voting. Mureșan's cabinet, supported by USR, PNL, and UDMR, faced opposition from AUR, SOS, and PSD. Only 8 of the 16 proposed ministers received favorable reviews. Mureșan announced his vision for the government in Parliament, emphasizing respect for the institution. If the cabinet fails to gain the required votes, a new candidate may be appointed. Previous attempts to form a government by other candidates also failed.
