BREAKING | Guvernul cere populației și companiilor să reducă consumul de energie electrică între orele 19:00 și 23:00

The Ministry of Energy urges households, companies, and public institutions to reduce electricity consumption from 7 PM to 11 PM until August 31, 2026, to alleviate pressure on the National Energy System. Recommendations include rescheduling high-energy activities to earlier hours and minimizing simultaneous use of appliances. Industrial consumers are encouraged to voluntarily decrease their energy use during peak hours, while public institutions should limit unnecessary lighting and equipment usage. Prosumers with storage systems are advised to charge during the day and use stored energy at night. The government is also addressing low water levels affecting energy production.
