A Romanian F-16 fighter jet successfully destroyed an explosive-laden Russian marine drone near the Neptun Deep oil platform in the Black Sea. The Romanian Minister of Defense confirmed that the drone was not of Ukrainian origin. The operation was initiated after the Coast Guard reported the drone's presence, prompting a command cell to be established at the Ministry of Defense. Two F-16s were deployed to ensure the safety of personnel working on the platform and to secure critical infrastructure. The drone was safely neutralized following coordination with NATO and the Romanian President.
