Minister Cseke Attila has ordered a comprehensive review of monitoring mechanisms, including the National Agency for Medicines and Medical Devices (ANMDMR). The agency, which oversees a €6.4 billion market, has faced scrutiny over its operations and connections to political figures. The lack of an integrated tracking system for medication availability has been highlighted as a critical issue. Proposed measures include improving IT solutions for early alerts and revising the authorization process for special needs medications to enhance patient access.
